It’s Christmas… 9 more days to go and we will be celebrating, I guess is the most happiest day on Earth, aside of course from our birthdays (hehehe)…

Indeed, Christmas should be a happy day… But would you be happy if you know that someone is angry with you? Would you be merry and glad if you have some major misunderstandings with the people you call friends?

This blog is intended for my friends who are in a big fight right now… You all know who you are guys… I just hope that you all put all these misundestandings behind.. I know that it is very hard to forget and forgive because me, myself, had experienced it… But in the spirit of Christmas, why don’t you guys just put all of these in the trash bin… All the recent not-so-good things that had transpired are not worth keeping this yuletide season… I really hope that we would all welcome this yuletide season with a clean heart and free from any chaos…

I know that this message isn’t enogh to heal the wounds you had inflicted in each others’ hearts. But I hope and pray that this blog would be the start of the healing process. And I assure you that I and the rest of the barkada would be there to help you mend those broken friendships…

Surprise!

Im back! After a very long time of silence here in friendster blog, Im back, ready to share everything that I could share…

I just finished on "re-reading" the testimonials my friends gave me… And it started plenty of memories to keep on flashing into my mind… I started reminiscing my highschool life, the days I spent with my close highschool barkada, the gimmiks and all the stuff we did together, the bad times we victored, and a lot of unusual but really fun things… I also started to remember the people who became a great part of my 20 years of living, my barkada… After some minutes of reminiscing, I finally realized how much the past means to me… Even if I try to forget the not-so-good memories of my life, it’s very ironic that I liked thinking and remembering all of them.. Most of all, remembering the so-called "great memories" makes me smile and even jump for joy because not all would have a chance to experience what I had experienced.. I think that I am one of the luckiest individuals here on Earth for I had experienced both the joys and sufferings of this life…

As of now, Im still on my journey towards wherever I may go… Im still facing difficulties, and of course, the sweetness of success… Im still with the special people in my life, besides from my family, my friends… I still keep my highschool barkada and still counting new sets of friends… I still have these people who, I know, I could count on whenever I may need help… I’m very thankful that Im still capable of constantly bringing joy to everyone else’s lives…

The future… Well, I guess that it’s not that far… But, whatever the times will be, whatever the challenges i might face, and whatever event would transpire, Im confident that I could handle all of them, just like how I handled everything in the past and how Im handling every situation as of the moment… I know that even how many years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, or seconds would pass my friends, my TRUE friends, would always be there for me… I believe…

That’s it for now… Let me leave you with a poem… This poem was read and explained to me by my mother when I was only 5 years old… At a young age, my mom made me understood the importance of making the right choice…

Hi! This blog post is another first for me! This is my first blog post written on a noon time! Grabe, ang init! It’s starting to get hot! Summer na naman! But the heat won’t stop me from writing this blog post! Eto at tuloy pa rin ako on sharing to you the things that transpired to me yesterday.

Having fun while having none… Impossible for other people… How could you have fun if you have none?! Some may think that it is a paradox… People who have less, let’s say less wealth / money or any luxury in life, may have not known of the word FUN. All they think of, maybe, are ways on how they could get out of their miserable lives… But let me tell you that having none could mean a lot of fun! In such a simple experience I had yesterday, let me prove to you that you could have FUN while having NONE!

I went to school yesterday for the second day of our classes. Me and my friends (Kath, Ginpao, Lester, Bmon, Steve) have five subjects to attend to every Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays! hehehe… Classmates ko sila sa lahat ng subjects! hehehe… We, minus Bmon because he was late, attended our first subject (SNA1). Our professor came in and dismissed us early without even introducing herself! Syempre with more time left before our next class, Ginpao, Lester, and Steve thought of playing DotA! Habang naghahanap sila ng computer shop where they could play, Kath and I went to McDonalds to eat! The three followed kasi lahat ng shops ay puno! Bmon arrived and the three of us (Kath, Bmon, and I) ate our breakfast… Bmon also gave us his pasalubong from Vigan… YEHEY! Bingiyan niya kami ng kalesa at lumang bahay!!! hehehe… After eating, the six of us went back to school for our next class. NONE! hehehe… There was no professor… Abot ears na naman ang mga ngiti namin… hehehe… We left the room then sinundo namin si Pam… We went out of the campus, AGAIN, and ATE, AGAIN NA NAMAN, at the walls. Akalain mo yun! Kumain si Kath sa walls! hehehe… After eating, we went back to the campus. Eli and Feddie joined us because they were our classmate on our next subject! hehehe… Guess what?! WALA NA NAMAN KAMING PROFESSOR! We went out of the campus and went to SM because mahaba ang vacant namin! Lester, Ginpao, Bmon, Steve, and Eli played DotA! Pam, Kath, and I went window shopping (I did not play DotA, hehehe, para hindi ako masyadong ma-addict, at para makatipid!)… Window shopping lang kasi wala naman kaming much money for shopping! Feddie joined us and we ate ice cream! YUCK! Ayaw ko ng i-kwento ung itsura nung ice cream!!! Parang… EEEEWWW! LAO SAI!!! hehehe… The five continued playing even if it was time for our next class. Kath, Feddie, and I went back to school. The rest followed. AGAIN, WALA NA NAMAN PROFESSOR!!! AT AGAIN ULIT, KUMAIN NA NAMAN KAMI! We went at the canteen to eat pizza… hehehe… Alvin was with us and Feddie went somewhere else! Wala talagang tigil sa kaka-nguya!!! hehehe… After eating and chatting about some teleserye, I, Kath, Lester, Ginpao, Steve, and Bmon went on our next class and Pam and Eli went with us. On our ENVI class, all of our classmates were already on their Senior years… hehehe… Sabi nga nila: ANG DAMING SOURCES!!! hehehe… Huwag na kayong magulat… WALA NA NAMAN KAMING PROFESSOR!!! Haaaaayyyy! Out of 5 subjects, isa lang ang may professor! hehehe… All of us went out of the school for the last time and went to SM. Pam went home. Ginpao, Lester, Bmon, Steve, Eli, and Alvin played DotA! Kath and I went window shopping to find a gift for Honelyn… The two of us also ate at Greenwich! Akalain mo yun?! KAIN NA NAMAN!!! We went back to Netopia but the six weren’t finished playing. Kath needed to go home. Syempre, hinatid ko siya… After ng pag-hatid ko sa kanya, I went back to Netopia. After playing, we left SM. Alvin went home. Eli, Ginpao, Bmon, and I decided to take the Cubao route again (see yesterday’s blog post!)… The four of us, Lester, and Steve rode at the same jeepney. We, with the exemption of Steve, went down at Blumentritt to go to Lester’s house to pick up Bmon’s guitar. Eli and Ginpao went to Mini-Stop, while I went with Bmon to Lester’s house. The three of us reminisced the Hell Weeks while walking! Lester, Bmon, and I proceeded to Mini-Stop after picking up the guitar. At Mini-Stop, huwag na kayong mag-isip kung ano ang ginawa namin doon. KUMAIN NA NAMAN KAMI!!! haaaayy… Sarap na sarap siguro si Bmon sa hotdog niya… wahhahaha… JOKE!!! Kami naman ni Lester ay nabusog sa siopao! hehehe… I don’t know what Ginpao and Eli ate! After eating, we said our goodbyes to Lester and rode a jeep going to Cubao. We took the MRT. Eli and Ginpao went down on their respective stations while Bmon and I went down at the last station and parted ways!

O di ba?! Kahit WALA, masaya! No professor, MASAYA! Not enough money, MASAYA! Through my simple experience, I hope that "having fun while having none" would never be a paradox to you. I hope that FUN and NONE would never be two contradicting terms anymore!

Let me leave you with, I guess, an irony of life. May this help you in your lives: "Be NOT afraid of DYING for we know that it will come. Be MORE afraid of LIVING for we don’t know what’s to come!"

Hi! This is my first blog post for the year 2006! Again, I would like to thank you for viewing my blog posts for 2005. I hope that you would continue to view them this 2006!

Classes for the third quarter at Mapua started this morning! A lot of Mapuans, as expected, gathered at the hallway, infront of the bookstore, to have some chats with their friends. All were expecting for a good term ahead of them. One of the student (which I think was a freshman) told his friend that he would like to have good grades for this term and he said that he could do such by starting this term right! After the events that transpired this day, I and the rest of my friends started the term right! I guess… hehehehe…

Let me share with you what happened this day and decide whether or not we started this term right!

I came to school early because our class was supposed to start at 7:30. I saw Franz and Rey sitting on the hallway, and I had a chat with them while waiting for my friends. Lester, Feddie, Ginpao, Revy, then Kath, and Eli came. We waited for more people but 7:30 came and we went upstairs. There, we waited for an hour and a half but our professor didn’t arrive! We (the whole class) agreed to leave the campus. Ginpao, Kath, Lester, Eli, and I went to SM to eat. Are you wondering where Bmon was? Well, he wasn’t able to come to school because he was still in the province! Because it was only 9:00 in the morning, the mall was still closed, only the fastfood chains were opened. We wasted 30 minutes on arguing where to eat. We ended up eating at Greenwich! Rommell also came at Greenwich… The mall opened and we watched and laughed at the people while they were making their way through the escalator! They were pushing one another and running as if as they were contestants on the Amazing Race! After eating, we went at the cinemas to choose a movie that we will watch. We watched Exodus. Sorry for my comment, but it was REALLY BAD! Eli, Kath, and Rommell sat with each other while Ginpao, Lester, and I were together and we really had a great time criticizing the movie! After the film, Eli bought a headset and we went home! Rommell went back to school. Ginpao and Eli agreed to take the Cubao route, of course, I went with them! Lester, Kath, and the three of us rode the same jeepney! Kath went down at Quiapo and Lester at Raon (he went there to buy something!). At Cubao, we rode at the MRT… Ginpao and Eli went down on their respective stations while I ended up at the Ayala station. I roamed around at Glorieta and Greenbelt before taking a bus-ride home!

That was the start of our term. Some may think that it was not a great way to start a term! I agree! Not going to class, watching a movie, and taking the long way home were the worst things to do on a start of a term! But who cares?! As long as we had fun with the company of each other, my friends and I believe that WE HAD STARTED THE TERM RIGHT!!

Saturday Sunset, Last Sunset of the Year 2005

Hi!

Hours from now, the world will be celebrating a joyous event! What else?! The New Year!! It’s time for us to leave 2005 and welcome the year 2006…

When a year ends, most, if not all, of the TV stations are having some year-end specials. These specials are about the things that they had done, the memorable and special events that transpired, and the people who made great news. Syempre, hindi ako magpapahuli! Mayroon din akong sariling year-end special blog post! heheheh…

Reasons… The year 2005 would probably be one of the most memorable years I had… Marami ang nangyari: There was the rally of the Mapuans against sa pagpapalit ng pangalan ng Mapua to Malayan! It was fun. It was a great time to bond with friends dahil halos everyday ay walang pasok! heheheh… But there was a price to pay! Dahil sa palagi naming pagsama sa malalaking rally, hindi ko naabot ung grade required para maging scholar. Kulang ako ng 0.10… wahahaha! 2005 din ng mabuo ang kakaibang barkada: The Penguin-chak-Bumpcar… hehehe… The reason behind the name: Penguin because mahilig kami sa penguins at naging professor namin ang hari nila! hehehe… Chak (/) term ng professor namin sa Filipino for slash… At Bumpcar dahil mahilig kaming mag-bumpcar! Kasapi (what a term!) ng barkadang ito sila: Ginpao, Xave, Jhen, Tin, Dianne, at syempre, Ako! This year din ng magkaroon ako ng camera phone! 2005 din ng mag-punta kami ng mga Highschool friends ko sa Pansol for our yearly outing. Check niyo na lang sa photo album ko dito sa friendster ung mga pictures namin! Sa taong din ito nabuo ang telefantasyang nag-pataob sa lahat ng telefantasya, ang GARSYA! hehehe… This year ay memorable din dahil sa mga malas at kinaiinisang mga tao: nandyan si Maam O na sa tuwing nakikita namin ay minamalas kami! Nandyan din si Leonardo na halos isumpa ng mga friends ko… hehehe… Mayroon din naman kaming mga taong minahal: tulad nila Maam San Diego at Sir Paglinawan, count Dr. Dapia in!! hehehe… Nandyan din ang mga frustrations tulad ng 0.02 na kulang ko para maging scholar! Syempre, hindi mawawala ang never-ending na mga galaan: Sta. Mesa and the Wow Philippines were some of the places we visited! Expressions and terms were also a blast during 2005! Ilan dyan ang "kuyut" which was a term originally used to describe the color pink, "Na Mo Toh Ta Ka Ya" sinasabi sa tuwing ayaw maniwala sa iyo ng kausap mo, "Braymon, ikaw ba yan?" the question asked to a person na galit or sumisigaw, "Kapag natalo ka, aalis ka na sa rancho at hindi mo na ako guguluhin!" from Nadine sa napanood naming teleserye sa GMA 7, "Akalain Mo Yun" ang favorite expression nitong nakaraang term, "Ewan ko, Malay ko, Bahala kayo!" ang golden answer ni Lester, at syempre ang most used term: "Lakas" which was used to describe Lester! PictuRRRan, mawawala ba yun?! A lot of pictures were taken this year! Hindi mawawala ang probably the main event of 2005, the HELL WEEKS! Check niyo na lang ung blog post about the HELL WEEKS in case na hindi niyo pa nababasa!

2005 woudln’t be as great as it was if it weren’t for these people who became parts of my life. These people are the reasons why this year became a colorful and a memorable one for me! These are: MY FRIENDS! As a special treat for you on this last day of 2005, let me introduce to you to SOME of my friends (from High School and from College), MY CLOSE FRIENDS!!!

Let me start with the people na almost 6 years ko nang kasama: my close friends way back in Highschool!!

Starting with my co-Mapuan "close friend":

Shiela Sumargo - Mawawala ba naman sa listahan ang kapwa Mapuan ko na si Shiela?! Malamang hindi! Si Shiela ay naging ka-close ko nung High School dahil sa Student Council… Si Shiela ay responsible, mabait, at masunuring bata! BATA?! wahahahaha! Si Shiela rin ay maaasahan sa lahat ng bagay lalo na sa galaan (kaunting ingat lang sa tricycle! wahahahah)!!! Marami na rin kaming napag-daanan ni Shiela mula sa trials, hardships and good times sa Student Council hanggang sa mga tiresome but fun na mga galaan! She is really a friend to be cherished!

Here’s my "close friend" na big guy talaga ng barkada:

John Apollo Abad - The big guy! Friend ko na si Polo noon pang second year high school kami. Hmmm… Ano ba ang masasabi ko about this guy?! Well, mabait yan… Matalino, magaling sa computers lalo na sa iba’t-ibang uri ng mga computer games. Kahit anong genre pa ng game yan, alam niya! Kahit bihira lang siya sumama sa galaan, masaya naman ang barkada kapag sumasama siya… Apollo is one of the many reasons kung bakit ako ganito ngayon. His actions at mga desisyon sa buhay inspired me in doing some of the great things I had done! NAKANANG!!!

Kilalanin naman natin ang laging kasama ni Apollo and definitely my "close friend":

John Francis deLeon - JF for short, si Francis ay isa ring computer game addict! Lagi sila magkasama ni Apollo. Ngayong college, kahit na hindi na sila magka-school-mate, lagi pa rin silang mag-kasama on different occasions. School-mate ko si JF ngayong college. Matalino yan kasi wala pa siyang bagsak! wahahaha! Mahilig din si JF na mangolekta ng different VCDs at DVDs ng iba’t-ibang animes at hentai… hehehe… Sa katunayan, ang dami na niyang koleksyon! JF, as I know, is always there when you need him. Marami ko ng times na napatunayan yan and I know na in the years to come, he’ll always be there!

Get to know my smart "close friend":

Dan Aaron Suarez - Isa sa mga mahirap isama sa galaan nung high school, pero ngayong college, panay naman ang sama! Si Dan ang isa sa mga super talino kong friends… hehehe… No doubt na matalino talaga yan! Dan is parang the good boy ng barkada pero, ngunit, subalit, datapwat pag nakilala mo siya… hmmm… May kasamaan din yan na naitatago! wahahahha! JOKE!!! Seriously, Dan is good at making advices… Talagang kapag sinunod mo, OK!!! He’s also one of the few who I know na mapagkakatiwalaan talaga!

Ysaac James Isaac - Kahit anong kalokohan, alam nitong friend ko na ito! YJ is always there with a big smile at parating may baon na jokes at iba’t-ibang uri ng kalokohan… hehehe… YJ is a friend who is always ready to make you smile when you’re sad and always ready to add up more fun into your life! He is one of my friends na parating present sa kahit anong galaan ng barkada! YJ is always ready to lend a helping hand! Most of all, YJ is YJ.. hehehe… Totoo yan… Nag-iisa lang yan, a "humorous yet full of sense" friend… NAKS! Full of sense! heheheh… He is, talaga, one of the reasons why I smile!

Ngayon naman, get to know three of my "close friends" and important ladies ng aming high school barkada at syempre, ng aking life:

Faye Garciano - Beauty and Brains - the best way to describe Faye! Faye is one of the few ladies na kilala ko na bukod sa maganda, matalino pa! Grabe! Super sa bait din nito ni Faye. Very understanding, caring, at friendly. Even na galit siya, she maintains her poise. Iba talaga! Truly one of my close friends, Faye never forgets ang lahat ng pinag-samahan namin… Lagi rin siyang nandyan whenever you need someone to talk to… I know that the friendship we have would always be there kahit ilang new years pa ang dumating! Faye is one of my friends na alam kong, 101% sure ako, hindi makakalimot! She is one of the reasons why I feel my life is colorful and almost complete!

Zarah Jane Gamao - Ang sexy star ng barkada! Sexy Star?! wahahaha… Yeah! Kamukha niya kasi si Aleck Bovick! heheheh… Pero mukang hindi na niya kamukha ngayon kasi mas maganda na siya kay Aleck! wahahahaha! Zarah is a friend na napakagaling mangonsensya! hehehe… Magaling din siya mag-bigay ng advice… Personally, Zarah is a friend, a friend na hindi ka papabayaan, a friend na handang umunawa, a friend na handang magbigay ng advice, a friend na handang tumulong… Ewan ko lang kung yan din ang masasabi ng iba! wahahaha, JOKE!!! But what I really know, Zarah is a TRUE FRIEND!

Joanna Marie Villeta - Jo, Jwana, Sexy, Jang Geum, Madame Jung… hehehe… Ilan lang yan sa pwede mong itawag kay Joanna! Si Joanna ang secretary ng galaan noon… Syempre, bilang pinaka-gala, ako ang president! Ubod ng dami na ang pinagdaanan naming 2… Good times na pinagsamahan namin, pati mga bad times na napagtagumpayan namin (hehehe… ano ba yan! ang deep!)… Kaya naman siguro ganito kami ka-close! Joanna, kahit minsan ay sumpungin, is a jolly person. She would really brighten up your day! She is really a friend, hindi lang sa galaan pati rin sa mga challenges ng buhay!!! NAKS!

It’s time for you to meet this amazing guy who is also an amazing part of my life and one of my "CLOSEST friends":

Kevin Francisco - Kevin, siya na yata ang lagi kong kasama nung 4th year high school ako! Kaya naman siya rin ang naging vice president ng galaan.. whahahah! We have lots of things in common, bukod dun ang pagiging mga gala namin nung high school… wahhahaha! Kevin and I share the same likes and dislikes sa iba’t-ibang aspects ng life. Just a call or an SMS away, Kevin is always there to listen and to give a hand whenever I needed one! He is a friend na maaasahan mong would be there for you in good times at syempre in bad times din! Sa loob ng ilang taon naming naging magkaibigan, I know that he is a real friend, a close friend! Nakanang, nakaka-touch ba?! wahahaha… DotA naman tayo dyan! hehehe!

At syempre, to complete the list of my high school "close friends" is:

Ma. Krizane Saracho - Krizane: ang lola ng barkada… hehehe… Nanay lang pala! wahahahha… Ate na nga lang, baka kasi sapakin pa ako nito!!! Si Zhaine ang laging nandyan para umayos ng lahat. She is always there to fix up things (parang translation lang nung sentence kanina!)… Nandyan siya para ayusin ang mga occasions, nandyan siya para pag-ayusin ang mga nagkakagulo, higit sa lahat, nandyan siya sa tuwing kailangan mo ng tulong! Bagay sa kanya ung song at tag line ng isang show: "If there’s something strange in your neighborhood, who do you gonna call? Krizane Saracho!" wahahahah!!! Seriously, those are the very reasons kaya among my high school friends, she is my CLOSEST friend! Thanks for being one!

Now that you know the people I consider as my CLOSE friends back in high school, it’s high time for you to meet the people I deem to be my CLOSE friends in college!

Here are two na kahit hindi ko masyadong nakakasama, I know na my "close friends":

Stevenson To - Si lolo… wahahaha… Si Steve ang friend ko na pinaka-magaling sa actions… wahahahah! Isa siya sa mga ka-block (A31) ko nung first term, first year namin sa Mapua! He is a real smart guy! Hindi ko nga siya masyadong nakakasama, but I know he is a nice friend. He is a friend na handang tumulong to whatever extent na makakayanan niya. He is also very concerned sa lahat ng bagay when it comes to his friends. Hinding-hindi ka talaga iiwanan nitong taong ito! Steve is always there for his friends whatever happens!

Honelyn Go - "Go, go, go, Honelyn Go! Heh!" wahahahaah! Si Honey (nickname niya. Ang sweet noh!) ay isa ring A31… hehehe… Hindi ko rin siya masyadong nakakasama, pero sa tuwing nagkakasama naman kami, NAKU, siguradong masaya! wahahaha! She is a friend na nandyan para magbigay ng advice. Honey is also a friend na handang mang-away para sa friends niya! wahahahaha! She is a friend na you can count on para magtanggol sa iyo! O di ba, parang super hero! hehehe!

Meet my "close friends" na kasama sa napaka-STRONG na samahan ng Penguin-Chak-Bumpcar:

Xavier Jim Siose - Ang pinaka-maganda sa group… wahahahaha! Ayan masaya na siya niyan! Si Xave ay isa rin sa mga tao ng A31! hehehe… Kahit na marami siyang kamukha, siya lang naman ang nag-iisang Xave na tunay na friend, maaasahan, at higit sa lahat, maganda! Naku, super saya na niyan!!! Xavier is always there kapag kailangan mo ng help. Wala akong maalala na time na hindi siya tumulong ng kailangan ko ng help… He makes sure na he would always give a helping hand or hands sa lahat ng nangangailangan! He is always there whenever he is needed. His presence talaga makes a big problem less of a problem! HANEF! hehehe!

Jennifer Uy - NATRE!!! hehehe… JOKE lang un! Si Jhen ang nag-iisa kong friend na may unique characteristic: para siyang kina-copy tapos pini-paste sa mga pictures! wahahahha, JOKE LANG HA!!! Eto, serious na! Si Jhen ay isang tunay na maaasahang friend. Sa tuwing may problem ang isa sa barkada, asahan mo na siya ang unang tutulong (given na siya ung unang naka-alam… hehehe)… Si Jhen ay napaka-supportive. Susuportahan ka talaga niyan sa lahat ng gagawin mo… Magaling din siya sa paga-advice kaya naman talagang malaki ang naitutulong niya sa may mga problems! And these reasons make her a great friend!

Kristina Grace Ramirez - Si Tin ay isa rin sa mga friends ko na maaasahan sa lahat ng bagay… Sa kalokohan,sa studies, at pati sa pagtulong, lagi siyang nandiyan! Si Tin ay isa sa mga taong hindi nakakalimot tumulong. Handa siyang magbigay ng help kahit na anong oras. Pwede nga siyang i-compare sa mga Sang’gre ng Encantadia!  Avisalah! whahahaha… Handang tumulong sa mga naaapi lalo na sa mga kaibigan! hehehe… Amihan, Pirena, Danaya, Alena, at Kristina!!! O di ba, BAGAY ang tunog ng name niya!!! hehehe… But seriously, Tin is a great friend, ano man ang sabihin ng iba!

Dianne Carleen Garcia - Lunok ng jolen sabay sigaw: "GARSYA!" Ito ang tunay na super hero ng barkada… Talo nito ang ibang super hero… Walang sinabi sa galing niya si Darna. Oo nga at tumutulong si Darna sa naaapi, BUT fictional lang siya!!! Si Garsya a.k.a. Dianne ay tunay na tao! She is always there when you need help. Handa siyang tumulog. She is a friend that you can trust on! Kahit na para siyang D flip-flop (delay), asahan mo na darating siya to help you. Huli man, malaki pa rin ang naitutulong niya to lessen your problems. hehehe! Dianne gives great help unconditionally, making her a real life super hero, and one of my close friends!

Braymon Ramirez - Sana sumapi muna si Braymon sa iba! wahahaha… Bmon is like a digimon… Palaging nag-e-evolve! Isa rin siyang A31. Often misunderstood na galit siya (kami lang ata! hehehe), Bmon is a good friend, if not, a great friend! He is a friend na laging nandiyan to listen. After niyang makinig, he gives his opinions and gives fruitful advices… He is also always there to help. Grabe, napatunayan ko iyan nung HELL WEEKS! When I felt na everything was over, he was there to remove that feeling and replace it with the feeling of hope by doing everything he can to help! I’m really thankful of having a close friend like Bmon, a friend who is there to support you! He is truly a friend worth keeping!

Eliseo Noble, Jr. - Totoy Pasada, Jun-Jun, Totoy… Isa siya sa mga tao ng A31… Wait lang, TAO?! hehehe… JOKE! Eli is one of the happiest persons I’ve known! Sobrang masayahin ang TAONG ito, kahit na may problems ay handa pa ring mag-smile sa iba! Tunay siyang TAO at kaibigan, for he tells you all things, makakasakit man ito sa iyo, basta alam niya na para sa ikabubuti mo! He is also one of those friends na makikita mo sa harap mo when you are on your darkest hours! Si Eli ay tagapag-bigay rin ng aliw (sorry sa term, parang call boy! wala na kasi akong maisip na term!) sa mga oras na sobra ang iyong kalungkutan! He’ll really make you smile! He is a reason why we should believe that lahat tayo ay TAO!

Karl Lester Co - LAKAS! KAHEL! wahahahaha… Ang friend ko na nagsasabing ubod daw siya ng guwapo! Ang friend ko na dahil sa sobrang LAKAS: bumubukas at namamatay ang mga street lights sa tuwing siya ay dadaan! You’re lucky if you have a friend like Lester. Bukod sa LAKAS na at artistahin pa (hehehe), isa rin siyang tunay na friend. Isa rin siya sa mga A31. He is a friend na hindi ka uurungan sa lahat ng bagay lalo na sa tulugan tuwing may overnight! wahahaha. Lester is a smart guy. He is also a friend na hindi mo aakalain na tutulong pero if you needed one, isa siya sa mga unang tao na would be there for you, to help you! He is the reason for the barkada’s LAKAS! Indubitably, he is a true LAKAS friend! One of my closest friends indeed!

Kathleen May Cristine Sagun - KUYUT! Isa sa mga A31, si Kath na marahil ang babae na sa unang tingin ay napaka-hinhin! Mahinhin naman talaga siya PERO kapag nakilala mo na ng lubos… haaaaayyy… Good luck na lang sa pag define mo ng taong mahinhin! Si Kath ay isang friend na, kagaya ng iba ay, laging nandiyan… hehehe… PERO, eto, she is always there not only to offer a helping hand but also to offer a shoulder to cry on! WOW! NAKS!!! She is a friend na would make you realize all the good things there are in life! She is the reason kung bakit masaya ang buong barkada. She has the face of an angel (NAKANANG!), the face that appeases your feelings and makes you forget your problems. Kath is one of my closest friends na hindi ko ipagpapalit kanino man!

Finally, here is my "close friend" na I’m with from the start and, hopefully, until the end:

Gino Paolo Luis Villanueva - Ginpao has been my classmate since second term, first year, and we’re now on our third term, third year (9 quarters, 27 months, more than two years!)! Sa tagal, our friendship had stood a lot of trials, making it a strong bond between us! Si Ginpao ay sobrang talented: taekwando player, singer, dancer! Saan ka pa!?! Si Ginpao din ay isang tunay na kaibigan. Sa lahat ng mga challenges na napagdaanan namin, hindi siya nang-iwan. I always see him, beside me, helping me! Sa mga times na hindi kami magkasundo, he was still there. He is a true friend at napatunayan ko na si Ginpao ay laging nandyan, he is there whom I can share my laughters and triumphs with, and he is still there to give help and the support I need whenever I have problems, may it be small or big! With these immeasurable reasons, Ginpao is one of my CLOSEST friends in college! I’m very lucky to have met a person like Ginpao, a person whom I can consider a TRUE, GREAT, and BEST friend…

2005 had really been a wonderful year for me! It had been such because of the reasons I shared with you on this blog post! Moreover, it had been a colorful year because of the people I shared it with, my CLOSE FRIENDS!

I hope that the new year 2006 would be more wonderful, colorful, and blessed not only for me, but as well as for you!

Let us leave 2005 behind but don’t forget to bring with you all the memories that had transpired. And let us welcome 2006 with a clean mind and a good heart!

First of the two Quarter End Blog Posts…

Merry Christmas!

Grabe! Almost one month na akong hindi nakakapag-post dito! Sobrang dami kasi ng mga school works at mga biglaang pangyayari… But don’t fret, I’m back! At para maka-bawi sa lahat ng days na na-miss niyo ang mga blog posts ko, I’m treating you to a two-part blog post. These posts would tell you what transpired the past few weeks… These posts would also serve as Quarter End special posts, syempre dahil kakatapos lang ng 2nd Quarter ng aking Third Year sa Mapua!

To start the special series of blog posts, I’ll try to tell you all the events that happened during, what I guess are, the most memorable weeks of my life! The HELL WEEKS! Para sa mga hindi nakaka-alam:  Hell Week is a term used in Mapua to describe the week before the Departmental (Final) Exams. During this week, prototypes are finished, defenses are over-flowing, and A LOT of school works are pouring like rain drops! These two weeks of HELL are memorable for me because I spent it with my closest friends… Let’s start travelling back to memory lane!

December 3, 2005, Saturday

This day marked the start of the Hell Week. Wala namang nakaka-alam sa aming magkaka-barkada na eto na pala ang simula ng dalawang mahahabang linggo na pagsasamahan namin. Nobody knew that this day would start our journey on making our friendship stronger. The day started normal. Everyone was talking about the concluded Misitique (EE-ECE-COE Night). Ginpao, Bmon, and I attended and IEEE seminar about supercomputing. After all of our classes, we (Ginpao, Kath, Lester, Eli, and I) went at the IEEE tambayan for our interview. After hours of waiting, we were told that our interview would be moved due to lack of time. Grabe, ang tagal naming nag-hintay! Well, that’s life. That night, nag-yaya si Ginpao na mag-punta sa SM to have some group pictures taken at a photo studio. Pero sa mga hindi inaasahang mga reaksyon at opinyon, hindi ito natuloy at ikinatampo ni Ginpao. Ginpao and Bmon went home together. Lester, Eli, Kath, and I went out of the campus together. This was the frist day na nag-overnight kami kina Lester. Kath did not join and went home. Pag-dating kina Lester, we started unpacking our things and started on familiarizing ourselves with the different softwares to be used. At the middle of the night, lumabas kami nila Lester at Eli para pumunta sa Mini-Stop. Sabi namin sa iba na bibili lang kami ng pagkain, but ang hindi nila alam (hindi pa rin yata nila alam) kumain din kami doon! wahahaha… We ate some sharksfin and drank Nescafe Ice. Lester, Eli, and I really had a great time of bonding at Mini-Stop. First night, what do you expect?! WALA kaming masyadong nagawa. Sina Franz, Lester, at Rommel ay nanood ng isang buong season ng Naruto (let me tell you: MAGDAMAG!). Ako naman, dahil sa hindi pa masyadong sanay sa puyatan, hehehehe, ay NATULOG! wahahahaha! I guess na sina Steve at Eli lang ang may nagawang kapaki-pakinabang.

December 4, 2005, Sunday

Julius SMSed me about the make-up class on our Logic Lecture class which will be held Sunday Morning, December 4… Syempre, kagulat-gulat ang balitang ito dahil wala kaming tulog (exclude niyo pala ako kasi natulog ako! wahahaha)… Dahil sa balitang ito, tinawagan ni Eli ang lahat ng kakilala niya para ipamalita ito… Si Franz, Steve, at Rommel naman ay nagmadaling maligo at umalis ng bahay nila Lester dahil sila ang unang class… The funny thing was: FALSE ALARM lang pala iyon! Wala naman talagang make-up class! Nalaman lang namin nung nakapasok na yung first class! Hiyang-hiya si Eli dahil siya ang nag-balita sa lahat na mayroong make-up class! Bumalik sa bahay nila Lester sina Steve at Rommel, tapos si Franz ay sinamahan nila Kath at Bmon sa Raon para bumili ng mga gamit for our prototypes. Natulog si Rommel ng buong araw habang busy kami sa paggawa ng mga prototypes. Night came and umuwi na kami ni Kath.

December 5, 2005, Monday

Maaga akong umalis ng bahay para sunduin si Kath sa Quiapo. Nagpunta agad kami sa bahay nila Lester. hehehe… Wondering kung bakit doon kami nagpunta even if it was Monday?! Kasi HINDI KAMI PUMASOK SA LAHAT NG SUBJECTS NAMIN FOR THAT DAY! wahahaha… Sinabihan din namin si Ginpao, at hindi rin siya pumasok. He also went at Lester’s house that day. We continued on our prototypes and it was the first day na nag-phot-etch kami ng circuits namin. Syempre, PALPAK! Ginawa ko din ung Multisim experiment 5 naming lahat. Sa kasamaang palad, nag-loko ung PC ni Lester at hindi na-save ung mga nagawa kong circuits. Meaning, INULIT ko lahat! Of course, friends are always there for each other. Tinulungan ako ni Lester sa pag-tapos ng mga experiments namin habang busy sina Kath at Eli sa pag-layout ng circuit nila sa PCB (BTW, umuwi na ung iba… Kaming 4 na lang ang naiwan). Kath, Eli, and I went home at around 10:00pm.

December 6, 2005, Tuesday

It was a normal Tuesday at school. It was also our last day in our Logic Laboratory class. We were dismissed early and we agreed to have another overnight at Lester’s place. The persons involved: Ginpao, Bmon, Steve, Franz, Oliver, JC (Serafino), Lester (syempre, sa kanila nag-overnight), at malamang kasama ako! Sinamahan namin ni Bmon si Ginpao na mag-paalam sa kanyang parents. We (Bmon at ako) arrived at Lester’s house at 10:00pm. Wala si Ginpao kasi bumalik siya sa kanila dahil may naiwan siya! At ang naiwan niya: yung mga gamit namin para sa prototype. hehehe… Hindi namin natapos ni Ginpao ung prototype namin sa Electronics. Hindi rin napagana nila Bmon at Lester yung kanilang mga prototypes which were due the next day.

December 7, 2005, Wednesday

Umalis si Bmon at Oliver ng maaga to attend their Electronics Laboratory class. Umuwi naman sina Serafino at Ginpao sa bahay nila. Kami nila Lester, Eli, at Steve ay pumasok ng school at around lunch time. hehehe… Dahil biglaan ang overnight, wala akong dalang clothes na pamasok! I borrowed some of Lester’s clothes… hehehe… It was Wednesday and Bmon, Ginpao, and I attended our Electronics Lecture class. Hindi me natulog the night before kaya doon na lang ako natulog sa class namin… Sa hindi inaasahang kaganapan, OUR PROFESSOR CAUGHT ME SLEEPING! wahahaha… Mabuti na lang at mabait siya! hehehe… UNIX class was still the same. After classes, Ginpao went home while I waited for Bmon, Lester, Kath, and Eli. After their class, we ate at McDonalds. After eating, I went home.

December 8, 2005, Thursday

Another normal school day and another overnight! Umuwi muna si Eli sa kanila para kunin ung PC niya (nasira kasi ung PC ni Lester). Ginpao and I also found out na nawawala ung mga gamit namin for our prototype in Electronics, which was due the next day… We hurriedly went to Raon but all the stores were already closed. We just hoped that Eli had just misplaced them. Luckily, our materials were with Eli. Ginpao had our circuit phot-etched while I prepared the developer solution. Later that night, Lester went upstairs to finish his Multisim project. After making sure that our project was on the right track, umakyat din ako para tingnan kung ano ang ginagawa ni Lester. Upon entering the room, I saw Lester in front of the PC, he wasn’t typing, he was SLEEPING! hehehe… Nakakahawa talaga ang pag-tulog ni Lester. Nang makita ko siyang natutulog, humiga ako sa tabi niya, pumikit, at natulog din! wahahaha…

December 9, 2005, Friday

Lester and I woke up because of the noise the others made! Pagka-gising, I went downstairs to check on our project. Our project was finished, thanks to the help Bmon and Steve gave me and Ginpao… Ginpao, Steve, and I went to school. Ginpao and I hadn’t defended our prototype because kailangan daw ng DAGA (mouse)! Tinawagan agad namin sa Kath para magpabili. After some minutes of waiting, Kath arrived. We tested our prototype and the mice were afraid of the sound the tweeter was emitting. Hinanap agad namin ang aming professor at sa kasamaang palad: nakita namin ang malas sa buhay naming magkakaibigan, si MAAM O! OMG! MALAS talaga, dahil nung pinagana namin ung prototype, gumana naman, BUT hindi natakot ung mga DAGA sa TUNOG! Buti na lang at natuwa ung professor namin sa mga daga kaya mataas pa rin ang bigay niyang grade sa amin… Later that afternoon, hinintay namin si Eli. While waiting, natulog sina Lester at Ginpao sa corridor ng UNIX room. Kami naman nila Kath at Rommel ay busy sa pagkuha ng pictures ni LAKAS (Lester)… hehehe… Don’t worry Lester. Isa lang ang nakunan naming picture mo… hehehe! Nagbasa rin kaming 3 ng mga madamdaming text messages at nauso na ang isa sa mga favorite quotes: "Uy, nagtatampo na ako!" Natutunan ko rin ang ENTER or NEXT LINE feature ng cellphone ko! Eli arrived and we went home. At home, nakalimutan kong manood ng ending ng Encantadia kasi nakatulog ako sa sobrang pagod… huhuhu…

December 10, 2005, Saturday

The much awaited day! Everybody thought that this would be the end of the Hell Week! Kasi nga naman naka-1 week na! No one knew na dito pa lang magsisimula ang maraming challenges that will test and mold our friendship! This was the last day of the normal school week. We were scheduled to have the interview for the IEEE but due to time, we were not able to be interviewed and we were again rescheduled. After classes, ANOTHER OVERNIGHT at Lester’s house! Everyone’s busy: Steve, Franz, Eli, and Serafino were busy finishing their Logic prototype, Bmon was also busy finishing ours, while I helped Lester on doing his Multisim project. While doing Lester’s project, inantok kaming 2. At habang busy ang lahat na gumagawa ng project sa living room, hehehe, NATULOG na naman kaming 2! wahahaha… Sleepmates talaga kami! hehehe…

December 11, 2005, Sunday

This day was the supposed deadline for our Logic project and nobody on our barkada had finished his project, except for Lester! AKALAIN MO YUN! Natapos namin ni Lester ung project NIYA, BUT ung project NAMIN ni Bmon hindi namin natapos… tsk tsk tsk! Syempre, paki-usapan time na! Pumayag naman ung professor namin na mag-pass kami ng Wednesday. Pina-sugod naman ako ni Bmon sa Raon para bumili ng mga kulang at nasirang mga gamit, while the others went to Lester’s house. pag-dating ko sa bahay nila Lester, waaaaahhhh, GRABE ang gutom ko! Thanks to Steve, bumili siya ng MARAMING, as in NUMEROUS, UMAAPAW sa dami, na pancit canton. Thanks din to Eli at niluto niya ang mga iyon. Kath, Lester, Bmon, Eli, Steve, Franz, and I shared the pancit canton and believed that it would be the last day for Hell Week (mali pa rin pala kami!). I went home late at night!

December 12, 2005, Monday

This was the first day of the Departmental Exams. It was our exams in UNIX and Electronics. After the exam in UNIX, we decided to eat our lunch. Gusto nila Bmon, Steve, Eli, at Ginpao na sa Sizzlingan kumain, BUT ayaw naman dun ni Kath. After ng masasakit at nakakainis na mga sagutan, Kath ended up eating at McDonalds (syempre, sinamahan ko siya) at ung iba naman sa Sizzlingan. Talagang nainis si Kath kay Bmon at akala ko nun na magtatagal ang kanilang feud. Bumalik din ung iba at doon din kumain sa McDonalds. Grabe, doon ko lang nakita na NAGPUPUYOS (wahahaha, hindi ko nga alam ibig sabihin ng word na yan!) ang galit ni Kath, to the point na pinapalipat niya si Bmon ng upuan (magkatabi kasi sila!)… hehehe… After some time, Lester arrived. hehehe… Syempre, para walang mahuli sa balita, kinuwento namin sa kanya ni Eli ang nangyari. After the Electronics exam, ANOTHER SLEEPOVER at Lester’s place!!! Nothing much happened during that sleepover. It was just a typical prototype-making night!

December 13, 2005, Tuesday

It was the Departmental Exam in Strength of Materials, and the final long exam in Logic Lecture. It was also the day when we needed to pass the take-home exam in Strength. waaaaahhhhh… Grabe! Nakalimutan ko ung test paper ko ng take-home exam, hindi sa bahay nila Lester… SA BAHAY KO, sa LAGUNA (NOTE: kina Lester kami natulog the night before this day)!!! Mabuti na lang at maraming excess sina Dianne at Tin. I managed to pass the exam at nakasingit ako sa mahabang queue, thanks to Kenneth Chua! Bati na rin pala sina Kath at Bmon! This day was our rescheduled day for the IEEE interview. Guess what! RESCHEDULED na naman kami kasi walang magi-interview that day! haaaayy! We took the exam in Logic and Strength and in between those exams we ate at the canteen. While we were taking the Strength exam, Eli went home to get some of his things. After the exam, Bmon, Kath, Lester, and I went at SM to meet my aunt. There, my aunt treated us at McDonalds. Doon na rin namin hinintay si Eli. Eli arrived and we all went to Lester’s house for another OVERNIGHT (hindi na naman kasama si Kath, bumaba na rin siya agad sa Quiapo)! Sa jeep na sinasakyan namin, HALA! Parang bumigat ang sakay ng jeep dahil kina LEster at Bmon! May sumakay kasing magandang babae na naka-PE uniform ng FEU! Sa sobrang ganda, hindi na ata napigilan nung 2 ang kanilang mga KALAMNAN at ung isang PART ng KATAWAN nila kaya bumigat! wahahahaah… Joke lang un! Inaasar ko lang silang 2 nun! hehehehe! Syempre, abot ears ang ngiti nung 2 lalo na ni Bmon kasi nakalapit siya doon sa girl! hehehe… Sa bahay nila Lester, tuloy pa rin ang paggawa ng prototype kasi the next day would be the deadline for it!

December 14, 2005, Wednesday

This day was the climax of the Hell Week. This day was dubbed as the HELL DAY! At last, na-interview na rin kami nila Lester at Ginpao sa IEEE (ang hirap kasi si Kuya Allan, the chairperson, ang nag-interview sa amin)! After that interview, I went sa third floor ng North Building for our defense and found out a very BAD news that almost destroyed my world! Dahil sa hindi mapagana ung prototype namin ni Bmon, kailangan kong paganahin ung Multisim project ko na I thought na wala nang pag-asang gumana! I was so depressed because I thought na I would receive, for the first time, a grade of 5! Doon ko nadama (nakanang!) na I really have true friends that would be there not only when I’m up but most especially when I’m on my lowest downs! There’s Kath who offered a shoulder to cry on, Bmon and Steve na umisip ng paraan kung paano maso-solusyunan ang problem, and Lester and Ginpao who constantly gave support (sa pamamagitan ng pag-aalok sa akin ng mga pagkain! hehehe!)… After the drama that took place at the canteen (o di ba, ang drama, tapos ang setting sa canteen lang ng Mapua, wahahaha!), Kath and I went to Raon to buy some things that we’re going to need and then we went back to Lester’s place. naabutan namin na nagpa-pack ng things sila Steve kasi doon naman sila sa kanila gagawa. Doon din namin unang nakita ang girlfriend ni Franz na si Joy (parang Big Brother: Franzen and wife Joy!). After packing, Kath and I went home. On the way home, I received an SMS from Lester. Hindi daw niya alam kung ano ang gagawin niya kay Eli. Dahil sa low-bat ang cellphone ko, hindi ko siya nasagot. Pagdating sa bahay, Lester called me and a long phone conversation was started. Sabi niya na hindi niya alam ang gagawin niya kasi umiiyak si Eli (napaluha siya dahil sa stress at sa news about Logic na gumulat sa kanya). Umuwi daw si Eli na masama ang loob at hindi rin niya alam kung aabot pa si Eli sa Makati. wahahaha! Habang nag-uusap kami ni Lester, hinahanap niya ung Flash drive niya sa buong bahay nila. hehehe… At hindi pa rin niya nakita hanggang sa nag bye-bye na kami. Nang mag-YM ako, nalaman ko na ung Flash ni Lester is with Serafino. hehehe… Loko talaga un, hindi alam kung nag-uuwi na siya ng gamit ng iba! JOKE, hehehe! That same night, tinapos ko ung Numericals powerpoint project ko at ni Lester.

December 15, 2005, Thursday

This was the last day of the Departmental Exams. It was our exams in Numericals and Logic. After the exmas, nagpalipas kami ng oras at nag-relax sa pamamagitan ng paglalaro ng DOTA! I played with Ginpao, Bmon, Lester, Steve, and Rommel. After playing, we (minus Ginpao and Rommel) went back to Lester’s house for another OVERNIGHT!! We believed that this night would be the last night for a sleepover (STeve and I were wrong!). All were busy finishing the Multisim projects and experiments. At syempre, kasama ng aking sleepmate na si Lester, kami ang unang natulog! The others slept a few hours after us!

December 16, 2005, Friday

Everyone was hoping that this would be the end of the Hell Weeks! We finished all of our projects and went to school to defend them (Bmon and Steve made my Multisim project work, thanks guys!). We (Lester, Eli, Bmon, Steve, Franz, and I) rode at Steve’s car. Huminto kami sa riles ng train sa may Espana dahil sa traffic! waaaahhh! Habang nakahinto kami doon, may parating na train at hindi pa rin kami umaandar! Luchily, nag-move na ung mga sasakyan, dahil kung hindi, ang headline sa newspapers ay: 6 Patay Matapos Mabangga Ang Sasakyan ng Train! Sa may Quiapo naman, mayroong truck na may laman atang mga computers ang huminto sa harap namin. Hindi rin masyadong nakasara ung pinto ng truck, at kung sakali namang bumukas iyon, ang headline: 6 Patay, Nabagsakan ng Computers sa Quiapo! wahahaha… Dahil sa we were already late due to the traffic, mabilis na pinaandar ni Steve ang sasakyan niya. Parang lumilipad na kami sa bilis nung dumaan kami sa may tulay sa Lawton, the headline: 6 Patay, Nahulog sa Tulay! hehehe… Nakarating naman kami sa school ng buhay! wahahahaha! GRABE! parang balewala lang ang ipinunta namin doon kasi naghintay kami from 5:00pm up to 10:00pm tapos the next day lang din pala kami magde-defense! SH*T! Dahil sa gabi na at wala na akong masasakyan pauwi, nag-overnight ulit ako kina Lester (and that was the last!). Nag-overnight din si Steve. Lester and Steve finished their experiments in Logic. Naglaro din kaming 3 ng Pusoy Dos… hehehe… First time ni Steve mag-laro pero siya pa ang may pinakamaraming wins sa aming 3! After playing, natulog na kami!

December 17, 2005, Saturday

This was the third Saturday of the Hell Weeks, the last day of the 2nd Quarter in Mapua, and this day concluded the Hell Weeks. A call from Ginpao and Eli woke me and Lester. Sabi nila na may class nga sa Logic at magkakaroon ng removal exams early in the morning. Dahil dito, nagmadali kaming maligo ni Lester at ginising namin si Steve (BTW, napakahirap gisingin ni Steve, AS IN!). At dahil sa wala naman sa plano ang mag-overnight nung nakaraang gabi, wala na naman akong dalang clothes! Pinahiram ulit ako ni Lester! The three of us went to school gamit ang sasakyan ni Steve. Nag-defense na rin kami sa wakas ng aming Multisim project sa Logic, and luckily, it went well! Lahat ng pagod at help na naibigay ng aking mga friends had paid off! Nalaman na rin namin na we all passed Logic Lecture! Pero kahit alam na namin ang good news na iyon, nag exam pa rin kami! wahahahah! After the exam, we ate at McDonalds. And after eating, we played DOTA! This time, I played with Lester, Ginpao, Bmon, Steve, and Alvin! Steve, Kath, and Eli went home early and the rest of us continued playing Counter Strike! We finished late that night. The others went home while Bmon and I went back with Lester to his house to get our things. After packing, Bmon and I said our goodbyes to Lester and rode a jeepney home. That marked the end of the Hell Weeks and the end of the Second Quarter of our Third Year at Mapua!

Ang saya kahit nakakapagod!!! After the Hell Weeks, after all the challenges we faced together, after all the headaches and heartaches, after all of those sleepless overnights, maraming new friendships ang nabuo at higit sa lahat maraming friendships ang naging mas matibay at matatag! I gained new friends (Serafino and Franz). Most especially, the friendship that Kath, Lester, Ginpao, Eli, Bmon, Steve, and I were sharing with each other became much stronger. The challenges that we faced during those two long Hell Weeks made us the individuals we are right now and made us a stronger barkada which, surely, would be a barkada that will victor harder trials, and a barkada taht would stand through any hardships and challeges in the years to come!

Second of the two Quarter End Blog Posts…

Thanks for reading the first part of the Quarter End post of my blog! Here’s the second part!

The Hell Weeks at Mapua ended the Second Quarter of our Third Year as college students! The Sunday following it was the release of our grades. I was so glad with my grades. Even if I was not able to get a general weighted average fit for a scholar, I was able to pass all of my subjects. Of course, hindi maiiwasan na mayroong madismaya sa mga grades nila. I know some na hindi happy because of the low marks na nakuha nila… Pero I know din naman some na mabilis nakapag-move on sa nakuha nilang mga grade! I guess that this quarter ended well for me and my barkada, but did not end as what others planned!

Just like the new year that will come, a new beginning is about to start. The Third Quarter of our Third Year at Mapua would start early next year. It was preceded by the enrollment for the next quarter. Grabe, ang ganda ng schedules na nakuha naming magba-barkada! AKALAIN MO YUN!!! Magkaka-klase kami nila Ginpao, Kath, Lester, at Bmon hindi lang sa halos lahat ng subjects, BUT SA LAHAT, as in ALL, NG SUBJECTS!!! Sana lang hindi kami tamarin this quarter… hehehe… After enrolling, syempre laro ng DOTA! I played with Bmon, Rommel, Ginpao, Lester, and Feddie. After DOTA, Counter Strike naman (with the addition of Eli and his teammate, Kath)! After playing computer games, we all went at SM. Bmon, Lester, Ginpao, and Eli played "World Kumbat" (World Combat, yun lang kasi ang naging biglaang pronunciation ni Bmon, hehehehe!)… Naglaro din si Ginpao ng Dance Mania. hehehe… Galing talaga niyang sumayaw! After the fun times at Quantum, we all went home!

Last Friday, we (Lester, Ginpao, and Me) went to school para samahan sina Kath, Eli, at Honelyn na magbayad ng fees. Hindi na nakasama si Bmon kasi uuwi na siya sa province nila (BTW, yung pasalubong namin ha!)… Habang nagbabayad silang 3, kami naman nila Ginpao at Lester ay nauna na sa McDonalds para kumain. They arrived and we started eating lunch. After eating, we went at SM to have some good times! We started at Quantum where Ginpao danced at the Dance Revo and Eli collected some tickets at the bascketball game! After playing, Lester, Eli, Ginpao, and I rode at the bumpcar. We rode twice and really had a great time! After the smashing event at the bumpcars, the six of us went to Popstart and sang. We sang a total of ten songs (hindi kasing dami nung mga ibang days na kumakanta kami doon!)… After singing, we went at a photo studio and had our group picture. Tingnan niyo na lang ung 2 sa mga pictures namin sa profile page ko sa friendster. While waiting for the pictures, Ginpao, Eli, Lester, and I played DOTA and Counter Strike. The girls ate at Greenwich. After an hour of playing computer games, pinuntahan na namin ung mga girls… BTW, first time ko palang narinig kay Lester ang mga katagang: "Kailangan ko nang umuwi." wahahahahaha! Then, we went home!

The quarter that had ended is one of the most memorable quarters I had in Mapua. I experienced a lot of new things during that quarter, but most especially, I had spent it with my close friends! I hope that the next quarter would be even greater (lalo na ngayong magkaka-klase kami sa LAHAT ng subjects!).

There is always an end for everything but after an end, may it be a great one or an unpleasant ending, there is always a new beginning where we could move on and start all over again!

Heya! It’s been a week since I last posted here on my blog! Grabe, ang daming school works! Ang dami ring school activities, hindi ko na alam kung ano ba ang uunahin! Nakakataranta! It’s like that my world is in chaos because of the overflowing schoolworks!!! Waaaaahhhh… I’m really tired lalo na this last few days…

Because I didn’t post here for a week, let me share to you some highlights of the previous week!

My last blog post here was last week (Tuesday)… During the days after Tuesday (Wednesday and Thursday) Mapuans are busy preparing for the big event: Mapua On Sale! Of course, me and my friends were also busy thinking of what we will do during the activity… We were also saving money to buy our passports for the said event… Mapua On Sale was held last Friday… Ginpao and I came to school early to pass our laboratory report for Electronics… While waiting for the rest of our friends, we watched the mini folk-street dance held on the Mapua grounds… Unluckily, passports ran out quickly and we were not given any… We were asked to get it later that day… Jhen, Xave, and Dianne came and informed us that they would not join us on the seminar because they had schoolworks to finish… Kath and Eli came, and together with Ginpao, we went to the South Bridge Room 2 for the seminar on Communications Without Thinking… Lester was a little late that day but luck was on his side because the seminar started very late! The seminar was a lot of fun because the speaker gave very entertaining lectures… After the seminar, we looked for Braymon then we ate at McDo… Braymon, Lester, Ginpao, Eli, Alvin, and Gillian (Kath’s brother, I hope I got that right!) decided to play Generals (an ON-LAN game)… Kath and I went back to school to see more booths. There we saw Honelyn… The guys SMSed us (Kath and Me) saying that they were in SM… We said our goodbyes to Honelyn, and Kath and I went to SM… While waiting for them to finish playing, Kath and I surf the net and played Gunbound (an ON-LINE game). We sat beside Lester and while surfing the net, we watched him beat the other guys on their game! wahahaha… Kahit mag-kampi-kampi pa si Braymon at Alvin, si Lester pa rin ang panalo! LAKAS talaga! After almost an hour of surfing the net, Kath and I decided to go out of the cafe and walk around the mall… We then went back on the cafe and found out that they were still playing. They were playing Counter Strike (an old ON-LAN game)… Their game was full of fun because they were always killing Eli (Eli doesn’t know much on how to play that game!)… wahahaha… After playing, we all decided to go home! Mapua On Sale was indeed memorable, not because of the activities at school, but because of the great memories and time I had with my friends.

Last Sunday was our Mini-MSDT on IEEE… It was held at Fort Santiago in Intramuros, Manila… Early that morning, I went to Quiapo to meet up with Kath… Because of the poor cell signal between Globe and Smart, I didn’t know where we would meet up because I didn’t receive her messages… Good thing that she called me and we met on the Christmas tree at the middle of the underpass… We went at McDo Intramuros to meet up with the rest of the gang then we all went at Fort Santiago… Upon arriving, we took pictures of the scenic views of the fort… Of course my phone was full of pictures of my friends on the historical place… Kath, Ginpao, Lester, Xave, Jhen, Tin, Dianne, Eli, Janet, and JB were some of the many people found on the pictures I took during that activity… Of course, they had numerous shots because they were my close friends… hehehe… We were grouped into 7 different groups for the activities on the Mini-MSDT… Our barkada was scattered on different groups but still at least two of us were on the same group: Eli and Janet on group1, Tin and JB on group3, Lester and Jhen on group4, Me and Dianne on group5, Xave and Ginpao on group6… Only Kath was left without a pair, she was a member of the seventh group… hehehe… The cheering competition was fun… Many unexpected things transpired… hehehe… JB and Tin’s group won the competition… After, we ate our lunch together and we had a lot of nice chats with each other, and of course, a lot of nice pictures… The Amazing Race IEEE style was the next activity… It was very tiring BUT very very very very very very fun… I had the chance to bond with other people, most especially with my groupmates… We were third on the race, Xave’s team was second, and again JB and Tin’s team was first! The awarding marked the end of the Mini-MSDT… The whole barkada had the same jeepney ride going to Lawton… We parted ways at the Liwasang Bonifacio… Lester, Kath, Ginpao, Eli, and I went at SM to eat our dinner… After eating we went home to get some badly needed rest for our gimmik the next day…

Last Monday was a special holiday… There were no classes… We decided to buy and start making our prototypes during that day… Still tired because of last Sunday’s event, we went at Raon (Electronics capital of the Philippines, hehehe) early Monday morning. We met each other at Chowking (Raon)… Then Kath, Lester, Eli, Ginpao, Steve, JC (Serafino), Oliver, and I went at Alexan to buy the things we needed. We waited for Braymon at Alexan. After the long wait at the queue on Alexan, Oliver and Braymon said their goodbyes, leaving: Kath, Lester, Eli, Ginpao, Steve, Serafino, and Me! We then went to Lester’s house. After eating our lunch we started working on our different schoolworks. Steve, Eli, Ginpao, and Serafino were busy making their prototypes, Kath and I were busy making our experiments in Logic Laboratory, while Lester was busy on going back and forth across the rooms and checking if we were all alright! Because of the event the previous day, I took a nap while Kath was doing our experiment… After that nap, Lester and Eli (I think… I really don’t know who bought the snacks because I slept) asked me to join on eating the snacks that they bought. Then, because we didn’t know how to create the circuits for our experiment, Kath played The Sims 2 on Steve’s laptop (which he brought with him), Steve and Serafino continued working on their prototype, and Ginpao, Lester, Eli and I played Super Text Twist! The four of us had fun playing with words… hehehe… Before we went home, of course, we took a lot of pictures… My phone’s memory went down on an instant because of the several pictures we took at Lester’s house… After taking pictures of one another, we went home.

Yesterday, I was absent for my first subject and I was very late for our Numericals class… These were because I haven’t got any well-deserving rest since the Mini-MSDT… wahhhhhh… Good thing that I haven’t missed any important lectures on those classes. It was our Logic Laboratory class yesterday, which means that we went home at around 9:00pm… Lester, Kath, Eli and I went out of Intramuros together… At City Hall, we saw Hero (Jeff) hehehe… The five of us stopped at Liwasang Bonifacio and saw a lot of people eating street foods. Lester told us, before leaving the campus, that he was hungry, because of that I asked him and the rest if they wanted to eat… Because there were no more open restaurants or fastfood chains near that place, I treated them and we ate some street foods (siomai)!!! That was the first time that we ate such kind of food together!! After that memorable moment, we went home…

WHAT A WEEK! So plenty of activities, so few time!

At last… Nakapagpahinga na rin ako… Grabe, may hang-over pa rin ako sa mga nangyari last weekend! Ang saya!

The reason for the title of this evening’s blog post: "Akalain mo yun!" is the very famous line for this term… This famous line came from our professor in Logic Lecture…

Let me now share to you what happened this boring yet wonderful day!

AKALAIN MO YUN, bawal pala maupo sa corridor along the Physics Laboratory rooms… wahahahah… The guard asked me to find another place where I can sit… With this reason, I went to the rooftop and found Eli…

AKALAIN MO YUN, binigay na sa amin ni Kath ung mga Rubick’s Cube namin… Syempre, walang kasawaang pag-buo ng cube ang aming ginawa…

AKALAIN MO YUN, napagkamalan nila Xave, Jhen, Tin, at Dianne na ung boses ni Eli na ni-record namin ay boses ng vocalist ng Mojofly… GRABE! Iba talaga si Eli!!

AKALAIN MO YUN, nagda-drama pa rin ung professor namin sa Strength of Materials… Sa sobrang drama, nag-groupwork uli kami… AT nag-check siya ng attendance kanina!

AKALAIN MO YUN, nag-seatwork pa rin kami sa Numericals kahit absent ung professor… Thanks to Lester’s notes, nakaraos kami… Thanks din kay Eli sa support at kay Ginpao sa sagot sa number 3…

AKALAIN MO YUN, umuwi agad si Braymon after namin mag-lunch… Nagtataka ba kayo?! Kung iniisip niyo na nag-cutting classes siya (kasi every Tuesday ang Logic Laboratory class namin from 4:30-9:00pm), well, mali kayo kasi nalaman na agad namin na absent ung professor namin sa class na iyon… He went home because he’s not feeling well…

AKALAIN MO YUN, nag-evaluation sa Logic Lecture… Ayaw ko nang magkuwento pa ng ibang detalye…

AKALAIN MO YUN, hanggang pag-uwi, Rubick’s Cube pa rin ang pinag-kakaabalahan namin nila Kath, Lester, at Eli… Nagpa-burn ng CDs si Eli at habang hinihintay ang mga iyon, mine-memorize namin ung steps sa pagbuo nung cube…

AKALAIN MO YUN, nag-punta kami sa SM kasi bumili si Ginpao ng blank CDs… At napaka-tagal naming nag-hintay sa kanya… GRABE!!!

AKALAIN MO YUN, napakasaya ng araw ko ngayon… Medyo boring, pero masaya! Nakita ko kasi sila Kath, Lester, Eli, Ginpao, Bmon, Xave, Jhen, Tin, at Dianne… HOW SUUUWEEET!

That was my day! hehehehe…

’til next time… I’ve got plenty of school works to do, plenty of friends to SMS, and most importantly, kailangan ko nang mabuo ung cube… wahahahahah…

Hello…

Grabe! Pagod na pagod ako sa dami ng nangyari this weekend kaya I’m going to write this blog post using, once again, both the English and Filipino languages… Nakakapagod ang weekend na ito PERO ito ang isa sa mga PINAKAMASAYANG weekend sa buhay ko…

Yesterday morning (Saturday), I was late for my first subject (Strength of Materials)… Nung pumasok ako ng room, naabutan ko na nagdra-drama ung professor namin… Akala ko na galit siya sa mga late, hindi pala… Galit siya dun sa mga hindi pumasok nung araw na iyon… Nakita niya kasi sila Xave, Dianne, at Jhen na papunta ng McDo kahit na may pasok kami… Haaaaayyy, sana hindi sila magka-problem… Sa class na ‘yun, grabe, super active kami ni Tin… Super compute at super sigaw ng mga sagot… hehehehe… After that class, Ginpao and I proceeded to our Numericals class… There, we met Kath, Lester, and Eli… Siyempre, wala na naman kaming ginawa ni Ginpao kundi ang kunan ng picture si Eli… wahahahha… I borrowed Lester’s notebook before our class started… During our Numericals class, Kath and I were very active on giving the answers (kasi meron ng mga sagot ung notebook ni Lester, no need to compute!) heheheheh… After Numericals, Ginpao and I ate our lunch at McDo and reviewed for our exam on Logic Lecture… Ayaw ko nang i-kuwento ung nangyari sa exam… Ang masasabi ko lang: AKALAIN MO YUN!!! heheheh… After that, we proceeded to IEEE to have our exam… After taking the exam, we prepared for our gimmik! Lumabas muna kami ng campus nila Lester at Eli para magpa-load habang hinihintay nila Kath at Ginpao si Braymon… Tumawag si Eli sa payphone sa loob ng Mapua at nagpapahintay siya sa amin ni Lester… Sinabi namin sa kanya na mauuna kami sa loading station sa labas… Habang nag-papaload kami ni Lester, dumating si Eli at galit na galit sa amin… Hindi kami pinapansin hanggang sa pagbalik namin sa loob ng Mapua… Dumating na si Braymon, at lumabas na kami ng campus at lumakad papunta sa LRT station para sa aming gimmik (manuod ng Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire sa Glorietta 4)… Hindi sumama sa amin si Kath because she had to go somewhere else (SM Manila)… On our way to the LRT station, kinausap na kami (Lester and Me) ni Eli… Niloloko lang pala niya kami… hehehehe… Nice one Eli, napaniwala mo ako dun ah, pang best actor… hehehehe… Bumili rin si Ginpao dun sa may bangketa sa may LRT ng parang nuggets na laruan na umiilaw-ilaw… binilhan niya rin kami nila Lester, Eli at Bmon… Sa LRT station, matagal kaming naghintay ng train… Ang gusto kasi sakyan ni Eli ay ung train na isa lang ang ilaw sa harap at paos… Yun daw kasi ung mahaba… (Gusto niya sa mahabang train sumakay para magkasya siya… wahahahahah). Sa loob ng train, masaya rin kaming nag-kuwentuhan… Bumaba kami sa EDSA para lumipat sa MRT station… Nakita namin dun si Jeff Vasquez (CoE student din sa Mapua na ka-batch namin)… We asked him to join us sa Glorietta 4 at sumama naman siya… Sa loob ng MRT (train), naging masaya kami sa pang-aasar kay Eli lalo na nung sumali sa pang-aasar ung mga senior citizens doon… wahahahahhaha… After that train ride (which ended at Ayala station), we went to G4 cinemas but we decided to eat first… We ate at Yellow Cab… After eating, bumalik agad kami sa G4 cinemas at pumila sa napakahabang queue of people… GRABE! SUKDULAN NG HABA ANG PILA!!! Sa counter, naubusan kami ng seats for the early screening times… That was why we ended up on the 11:00pm show of Harry Potter, last full show ng G4 Cinema 2… Because of the time, napagdesisyunan namin nila Lester at Eli na mag-overnight na lang kina Braymon… While Ginpao and Jeff naman ay nagdesisyon na umuwi sa kani-kanilang mga bahay… 8:30pm kami bumili ng tickets kaya sa mga oras ng aming paghihintay, naglaro na lang kami sa time zone… Aliw na aliw sina Lester at Braymon dun sa boxing game doon, kaya naman after several times of playing, nanakit ang braso at kamay ni Braymon… Si Eli at Ginpao naman ay sumayaw sa Dance Mania… Sinubukan din namin ung game na kailangang mag stack ng blocks para makuha ung prize… Talo naman kami… Nung mga 10:30pm na, pumasok na kami ng sinehan… Sa loob, bago tuluyang pumasok sa pinakaloob ng sinehan, nag-pictuRRRan muna kami (sana ma-upload ko!!!)… After taking pictures, we then looked for our seats… Umupo kami sa 1st row sa pinakagitna, it was a very nice row of seats! hehehe… Ang ganda ng Harry Potter kahit na medyo iba ung ibang scenes sa movie doon sa book… GALING!!! Kaso nga lang, pareho kami ni Lester ng nasabi after nung movie: BITIN!!!!! waaaaaahhhh… Ang tagal pa nung 5th part! After the movie (1:30 am), Jeff went home and Ginpao rode a taxi home… Lester, Bmon, Eli, and I had a bus ride going to Rotonda… On the bus, Eli had an experience with a very yucky thing… Wag niyo na itanong kung ano yun dahil baka MA-SUKA lang kayo! YUUUUUCCKK!!! We rode a tricycle and then walked papunta sa tinutuluyan ni Bmon… BTW, kahit sa street nila Bmon, namamatay at bumubukas parin ung mga street lights sa tuwing dadaan si Lester… wahhahah… LAKAS talaga! At Bmon’s place, nag-kuwentuhan muna kaming apat… After some minutes, nahiga na si Lester at sumunod na rin ako sa paghiga sa tabi niya… Pinatay na ni Bmon ung ilaw then pumasok na siya sa room niya para matulog… Eli didn’t sleep kasi sabi niya na hindi raw siya makatulog… Natulog kami ni Lester dahil sa sobrang pagod… Paggising namin ni Lester kanina, kinuwento ni Eli kung paano kami matulog… Sabi niya na para raw nananaginip si Lester… Kuwento rin ni Eli na there was one instance na nag-stretch ng kamay si Lester at muntik na raw akong tamaan sa mukha… Good thing na kasabay ng pag-stretch ni Lester ay ang pag-change ko raw ng position kaya naka-iwas raw ako… heheheh… Ang likot pala namin matulog ni Lester! wahahahah… Siyempre, walang kamatayang picture taking ang naganap pagkagising… Kahit ang natutulog na si Braymon ay hindi nakaligtas sa aking camera… wahhahaahah…. Si Lester naman ay photogenic pa rin kahit bagong gising… At si Eli… AYAW pa rin mag-pa-pictuRRRe!!! Paggising ni Braymon, in-install niya ung Generals sa PC niya… As usual, napaka-lakas pa rin ni LAKAS (Lester) kasi natalo niya ung PC na naka-BRUTAL mode!!! Before eating lunch, nanuod muna kami ng Naruto episodes 113-115 ata un… Basta un ung episode na lumaban si Choji dun sa isa pang mataba hanggang sa laban ni Neji dun sa may sapot na kalaban… heheheh… Kumain kami ng lunch: MALATANG kanin na sinaing ni Bmon at mga delatang niluto ni Eli… wahahahahah…. After eating, Lester, Eli and I went home… Si Eli ay sumakay dun sa may EDSA habang kami naman ni Lester ay nag LRT pabalik sa Central Station… Lester and I parted ways sa may Park and Ride…

GRABE!!! WHAT A WEEKEND!!! Ang daming nangyari, nakakapagod PERO napakasaya!!!

I really had a great time with my friends this weekend! I really had a grand time with Lester, Bmon, and Eli… This weekend is one of my most memorable weekends… ’til next time…

Always remember to study hard and at the same time have LOTS of FUN! Sabi nga nung gasgas na quote: "All work with no play makes Juan a dumb boy!" heheheheh….
